Reviews and Ratings
The Hotel HERODION is ideally located near all the major sites with an excellent view of the Acropolis. The rooms, though small by American standards, offer uninterrupted views of the Acropolis. Guests enjoyed the amazing rooftop view, but found the noisy conversations and lack of hospitality from some staff members unpleasant. The location is perfect for exploring, being close to major attractions and restaurants. The facilities are not extensively discussed but seem adequate.
I stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were simple and clean, giving off a vibe like a 3-star European hotel from the 90s, but they were quite tiny and lacked a street view. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The location was superb, within walking distance of all the major attractions Athens has to offer. The dining was decent, offering a variety of options, although somewhat standard. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although on the small side, were decently clean. The service was friendly and helpful, especially with some issues we encountered. The location was superb, right next to the Acropolis Museum, but the prices felt a bit overpriced. The dining was ok, with local specialties included, but lacking some variety. Overall, a decent choice with some room for improvement.
Staying at this hotel was truly a mixed experience. The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views of the Acropolis and being close to all the main sites of Athens. The rooms, though on the small side, provide a glimpse into our room. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. However, the dining options were subpar, with limited choices and unappetizing hot dog style sausages. Despite some downsides, the overall value for money was excellent.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were cozy and just fine for the four of us, although they were a bit small. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Spyros. The location was perfect, near the Acropolis, allowing easy access to historical sites, restaurants, and local markets by foot. The dining experience was quite satisfactory, but with very basic and frugal options. Overall, it was a good value for money.
The hotel is right in the center of the city, offering a convenient location to explore the main attractions. The rooms are clean but on the small side, lacking some comforts like a cozy chair. The service is friendly and attentive, ensuring all needs are met. Dining options are decent but not exceptional. The price is reasonable for the value provided.
The hotel was quiet and just what we had wanted, but the rooms were very dark and need painting. The service went out of their way to be helpful, though the woman at reception was not very welcoming. The location is perfect, near the Acropolis and Plaka, and the dining was minimal but okay.
